Calavera Literaria
Calavera Literaras, which literally translates to "Literary Skulls", are short poetic obituraries written in a humorous way about people or ficitinal characters that are still alive.
They orginally originated as a way for the public to ridicule political and other prominent leaders of the today. Nowadays, calaveras literarare are written in a playful, fun way about friends, family, or other individuals that we know of.
If you are interested in submitting a Calavera Literaria you can submit them to us by filling out the text box below the example of a Spanish Calavera Literaria. We will print them out and include them in our Memorial Wall for the event.
Poems
If you have any poetry that you would like to submit to us in English or Spanish we will be more than happy to display it on our Memorial Wall as well! Just fill out the information on the message box and let us know if you want your name to be included.
