Papel Picado is a decorative craft using tissue paper to make elaborate desgins. It is usually used as decoration for different holidays including Christmas, Easter, and Día de Los Muertos. For Día de Los Muertos, papel picado represents the element of the wind. For more information about this, you can look under the Altar: Elements to Build one page. (It is located under Competition Registration subsection).
We will provide tissue paper and cut-out designs during the day of the event. Supplies will be limited!
